The Megarezky University Language Institute (Unimerz) together with 108 delegates from 64 Language Institutions throughout Indonesia took part in the first National Conference of the Language Service Institute Forum (FILBA) at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, Solo from 30 November to 4 December.
For this activity, Unimerz sent one of the managers of the Language Institute, namely Hasnani, SS, M.Hum.
In his statement, the figure who is often called Ms Nani said that the national meeting was held to discuss the FILBA program in the field of translation.
"The first National Conference was held in Solo which was also the 2nd FILBA Workshop with the theme FILBA Create Mandiri for the Nation. Aims to discuss the FILBA program in the field of translation including translation services, interpreting, oral to written translation (subtitling), editing and proofreading. "The testing area includes internet-based standardized language proficiency tests," he explained, Friday (2/11/2022).
“Includes English, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and BIPA. "The field of standardization and quality assurance includes standards in the fields of management, infrastructure, human resources, financing for training services, testing, translation, as well as evaluation policy systems, both internal and external," he added.
Furthermore, he also said that this activity refers to the work program that has been determined by the management for 2018-2022 which is prepared in the Long Term Plan (RJP).
"This work program will be continued by the elected management for 2022-2026," he said.
After participating in the FILBA National Conference, Hasnani, SS, hopes to further develop language institutions at Unimerz in accordance with institutional standards.
"My hope after participating in this activity is that I can develop the Language Institute according to institutional standards in the future. "Apart from that, internal cooperation between members of Language Service Institutions throughout Indonesia," he hoped.
