ABOUT

MEGAREZKY UNIVERSITY

Megarezky University (UNIMERZ) is one of the Private Universities (PTS) in Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province. It was officially founded in 2005 in the form of the Mega Rezky College of Health Sciences (STIKES). Along with the development of STIKES Mega Rezky, the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky Makassar then established the Mega Rezky College of Teacher Training and Education (STIKIP) in 2014. In 2018, STIKES Mega Rezky and STIKIP Mega Rezky officially merged and changed its form to Megarezky University which currently houses 8 faculties and 30 study programs at Diploma 3, Diploma 4, Undergraduate to Postgraduate levels.

STORY

HISTORY ABOUT UNIMERZ

Megarezky University (UNIMERZ) is a private university (PTS) under the auspices of the Megarezky Islamic Education Foundation (YPI). YPI Megarezky itself was established with Deed Number 03 dated 16 December 2004 and Deed Number 02 dated 7 June 2010 made by Notary Muhammad Mirsa Saman Sadek, SH, and was ratified by Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights, Number AHU-3128. AH.01.04. 2010 July 26 2010.

Previously, the Megarezky University campus did not have university status, but was a combination of the College of Health Sciences (STIKES) and the College of Teacher Training and Education (STIKIP).

2005

Establishment of STIKES

In accordance with the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 166/D/O/2005 concerning the establishment of permits for the establishment of STIKES Megarezky, and study programs, namely the Nursing study program for Bachelor (S-1) and Midwifery, Diploma (D-3) programs.

2014

Establishment of STIKIP

YPI Megarezky founded the College of Teacher Training and Education (STIKIP). This is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 147/E/O/2014 concerning permission to establish the Megarezky College of Teacher Training and Education, with four (4) study programs, namely the Physical Education study program, Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD), English Language Education and Sociology Education.

2018

Merger of STIKES and STIKIP

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1194/KPT/I/2018 concerning permission to merge STIKES Megarezky with STIKIP Megarezky to become Megarezky University which is organized by the Megarezky Islamic Education Foundation. In the same year, Mergarezky University also presented a new study program, namely the Midwifery (S-1) and Midwife Profession study programs with the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 1044/KPT/I/2018.

Now

Manages 30 Study Programs

Megarezky University currently has 8 faculties, namely the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), the Faculty of Health Technology, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Computer Science, the Faculty of Economics and Digital Business, the Faculty of Law and the Postgraduate Program. So apart from the Bachelor's program, Megarezky University also has 3 Postgraduate programs, namely Masters in Sociology Education, Masters in Hospital Administration and Masters in Reproductive Health.
