PROFILE D4 MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
The DIV Health Analyst Study Program (Medical Laboratory Technology) was established in accordance with the Higher Education Research and Technology permit on December 30 2015 with Decree Number 197/KPT/I/2015. Then in 2017, in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 257/M/KPT/2017 concerning the names of study programs in universities, one of the Health Analyst study programs was changed to Medical Laboratory Technologist.
The D-IV Health Analyst Study Program with the name STIKES Megarezky at that time in 2016 accepted new students for the first time with a total of 340 interested people. However, the institution only graduated 125 people at that time. Public interest in this major is very high because it is seen as a study program that has a bright future because human resources or ATLM are currently still lacking throughout Indonesia. In 2017, with the new name D-IV Medical Laboratory Technology, interest in this study program increased to 400 people, but the study program quota at that time was only 160 people.
In 2018, public interest increased as evidenced by the number of applicants, namely 640 people, but currently the study program only has a quota of 240 people in line with the lecturer ratio at that time. Until now, there are more and more people interested in the D-IV TLM study program because of the public's trust that alumni from the D-IV TLM study program at Megarezky University have worked in all corners of Indonesia to become reliable and professional ATLMs and are at the forefront in supporting disease diagnosis.
