The speaker at this public lecture was Dr. Muhammad Hendrik Dengah, ST., SH., MH who is the Ad Hoc Human Rights Judge at the Makassar High Court.
In his speech, Deputy Chancellor I of Megarezky University, Dr. NS. Julia Fitrianingsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep said that activities like this are absolutely mandatory, because according to Dikti regulations, all universities are required to have anti-corruption courses.
"Today, we deliberately invited Mr Hakim as a speaker at this activity. This is not to scare us all, but the government, through the Ministry of Education, has issued a regulation that all universities must have a mandatory subject, namely anti-corruption. "And we see that this theme is suitable for public lecture activities, because it is multidisciplinary in nature," he said.
“We will all be change agents in society. So we must know and recognize ways to prevent manipulative actions, through the values of integrity, honesty and discipline. "We ask the resource persons to provide advice or reinforcement regarding today's theme to our new students," he added.

Meanwhile, in his presentation, Dr. Muhammad Hendrik Dengah, ST., SH., MH explained that he raised this theme so that all students could know what is categorized as anti-corruption action, so that it can be prevented and avoided.
“Why did I choose this theme? Because if we don't know and don't know what forms of corruption act like, then how can we know whether what we are doing is an act of deviation that leads to corruption or not. "So it is very important to have knowledge like this, at least we can prevent it before entering the process of examination, investigation or even being named a suspect," he said.
Not only that, he also hopes that all Megarezky University students will know the characteristics of acts of corruption and avoid all actions that approach criminal corruption.
"My hope is that if we know and understand this, we can avoid all actions that approach criminal corruption," he said.
For your information, this activity took place in an orderly manner under the guidance of the moderator, namely Eka Sari Ridwan, SKM., M.Kes who is the Head of the Megarezky University Admissions Institute.
