Megarezky University, especially the Undergraduate Midwifery and Midwifery Profession Study Program, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, welcomed a visit from the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) team from the Midwife Professional Education Association, Friday (6/1/2023).

The delegation from the Monev Team, namely Andari Wuri Astuti and Hj Amriana, were welcomed directly by the Deputy Chancellor of Megarezky University, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, the Head of the Midwife Professional Education Study Program, the Heads of Unimerz Institutions, as well as the Lecturers/Staff of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery Unimerz.

In his statement, Unimerz Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep said that Megarezky University was one of the campuses that received a visit from the Monev Team to socialize the family planning module from AIPKIND.

"Today's activity is Monitoring Evaluation (Monev) from the Midwife Professional Education Association (AIPKIND). "Mega Rezky University is one of the campuses that received monitoring and evaluation, apart from the Health Polytechnic or Poltekkes Makassar, only two campuses in Makassar received monitoring and evaluation," he said when met in his office.

"This monitoring and evaluation is related to the socialization of the family planning (KB) module. So this is one of the modules developed by BKKBN in Indonesia for all universities, and Unimers as one of the pilot campuses. "Because indeed, Unimerz is the first campus to have a midwife professional license compared to other campuses in Makassar City," he added.

He further said that all levels of leadership, lecturers and staff were required to optimize the development of the family planning module which was socialized by the AIPKIND Monev Team.

"All levels of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery and heads of undergraduate study programs and the midwife profession must of course optimize the development of this module. Because this model is one of the tools that determines the potential achievements of alumni who graduate later. "And of course we must pay attention to the graduates that will be produced by the midwife profession, of course those who are professionally competent and have advantages in accordance with the vision of the technology-based midwife profession," he explained.

“This activity will produce recommendations from the Monev team. Of course, this recommendation will be a consideration that the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery must continue to improve and immediately follow up on the recommendations of the assessor team. "So that Unimers can become a campus that can produce a professional midwife profession that is able to compete globally," he said.
