Megarezky University (Unimerz) together with Megarezky Health Polytechnic (Polimerz) also enlivened the 2024 Sulawesi Education & Techno (EXPO) tertiary education and innovation exhibition by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) for the South, West and Southeast Sulawesi regions (Sultan Batara). The agenda will last for 3 days at the Sandeq Ballroom Claro Hotel, Makassar starting from 23 – 25 January 2024.
At the EXPO exhibition with the theme Simultaneously Creating an Independent Campus, Megarezky University conducted socialization and chatted with visitors, especially students in South Sulawesi, in order to attract them to join as members of the Unimerz Class of 2023.
Not only that, in participating in EXPO 2024, Unimerz also provides several free health check services to visitors, such as blood sugar checks, uric acid checks, cholesterol checks, blood type checks, heart checks and eye checks.
Also present at this activity were the Chair of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky; Hj Suryani, SH, MH, Chancellor of Megarezky University; Prof. Dr. Anwar Ramli, SE, M.Sc, Vice Chancellors, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Lecturers/Staff from Unimerz and Polimerz.
In his speech, Head of LLDIKTI Region IX Sultan Batara Andi Lukman, said that this activity was an effective synergy in improving services to the wider community who needed the most up-to-date information about Higher Education (PT).
"The 15th Sulawesi Higher Education Week is also a promotional event for HEIs so that our children don't make the wrong choice. This is also an event for friendship to knit and build cooperation between PTs and cooperation or collaboration is a form of MBKM. "When you choose the right study program and university, your future will also be right," he said, Tuesday (23/01/2024).
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Anwar Ramli, SE., M.Si as Chancellor of Unimerz hopes that Unimerz's participation in this activity can make a positive contribution to the campus, including increasing the number of students at Megarezky University for the Class of 2024.
"Unimerz has three stands that have participated in EXPO 2024. According to my observations, one of the biggest stands is Megarezky University and has the most visitors, especially students. This is probably because we are a campus that is directly related to the needs of society in general, namely health. "There are several health services that we provide, such as blood type tests, blood sugar and so on," he said.
"Thank God, the Unimerz and Polimerz booths were very busy with visitors. We hope that this EXPO can strengthen our (campus) relationship with students in South Sulawesi. "And we can also make a positive contribution to our campus, including increasing prospective students at Megarezky University this year's class, Aamiin," he hoped.
For your information, there are hundreds of stands present at this event, and they are certainly interesting to visit. The participants in the 15th Sulawesi Education & Expo 2023 were attended by various private universities in LLDIKTI Region IX, and several universities including from Java, such as the Faculty of Medicine, Gunadarma University, Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
