Megarezky University (Unimerz) is the only private university (PTS) in Makassar City that receives grant assistance in the form of laboratory equipment from the Ministry of Vocational Education.
The grant assistance given to Unimerz is, 2 (two) ECG units, 1 (one) Syringe Pump, 3 (three) units Microscope, 1 (one) Incubator, 1 (one) Waterbath unit, and all to one PC Type 1a 1 (one) unit.
In his statement, Vice Chancellor 1 Unimerz, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep, M.Kes, M.Kep said that those who received laboratory equipment grants were the Cardiovascular study program and D4 Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM).
"Thank God, in 2022, Megarezky University, we received a grant for the private higher education vocational higher education strengthening program for the 2022 budget. The only PTS in Makassar City that received grant assistance was Megarezky University. "So this is a grant given by the ministry of vocational education, which received the grant assistance, namely the Cardiovascular and D4 TLM study programs," he explained when met in the Unimerz Rectorate Meeting Room, Tuesday (22/11/2022).
"This assistance is provided to support the educational process of achieving potential in vocational study programs at Unimerz," he added.
Not only that, he also advised all study programs, especially health study programs, to be more sensitive to programs launched by the government, whether the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology or the Ministry of Vocational Education.
"The suggestion from the rector is that all study programs must be more sensitive to the programs of the Ministry of Education and Culture or the Ministry of Vocational Education, because we have academic and vocational levels. "Therefore, this assistance is important and is considered very supportive in increasing the competence of our students, especially those in health study programs," he said.
"We hope that the study programs that receive this grant assistance can continue to develop strategic superior programs in their study programs, so that they can improve the quality of their respective alumni," he said.
