Signing of the MoU and MoA between Megarezky University (Unimerz), especially the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) of South Sulawesi Province (Sulsel), in the Megarezky Health Polytechnic Meeting Room, Saturday (4/3/2023).
Also present at the signing of the MoU and MoA were the Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation and Information Systems; Dr. Hj. Arfenti Amir, S.Pd., M.Pd, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. apt. Jangga, M.Si., Chairman of PD IAI South Sulawesi; Dr. apt. Andi Alfian, M.Si and his entourage, as well as all lecturers/staff within the Faculty of Pharmacy, Megarezky University.
In his speech, Dr. apt. Jangga., M.Kes as Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Megarezky University, said that the 3 main principles of the MoU and MoA held were a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
"We as the organizers of the activity brought together Megarezky University and IAI. God willing, we will sign an MoU, the principles of this MoU are in the fields of education, research and community service. Those are the 3 main parts that are important in the MoU and MoA. "And one form of implementation of the signed MoU is the socialization of the Pharmacist Information System (SIAP) which will also be held immediately today," he explained.
"Hopefully this activity will be carried out well. "Of course we hope that this MoA and MoU will not just be a signature, but this will be a step for us to be able to go further together and be able to synergize with each other in the future," he added.
In line with this, Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation and Information Systems; Dr. Hj. Arfenti Amir, S.Pd., M.Pd hopes that the collaboration between Megarezky University and IAI can strengthen the quality of education.
"Thank God, today we will sign the MoU and MoA with IAI Sulsel. Of course, this is a matter of pride for Megarezky University to be able to synergize with IAI. "Hopefully this MoU can strengthen us to improve the quality of education," he said.
"Today there will also be immediate socialization of the MoU and MoA, which means that what was signed today has been implemented. "We hope that this workshop will provide the academic community with an understanding regarding SIAP as a development of the tridharma," he hoped.
Meanwhile, the Head of PD IAI South Sulawesi, Dr. apt. Andi Alfian, M.Si hopes that in the future the two parties can synergize with each other to develop the outcomes of professional pharmacist education.
“Our plan is to build understanding and cooperation. So we at IAI have a tagline, Pharmacists Ready to Synergize. In this way, we are increasing the number of MoUs with various stakeholders. "We hope that Megarezky University and IAI can work together well and support each other, to develop the educational outcomes of the pharmacist profession to be better and better," he said.
