Two study programs (Prodi) and the Megarezky University Institute (Unimerz) officially signed an MoA with study programs at the Bina Guna College of Sports and Health (STOK) Medan, on Friday (4/8/2023).
The study programs and institutions in question are the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD), Physical Education and Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Megarezky University.
The signing of the collaboration agreement was carried out by two study programs at STOK Bina Guna Medan, namely the Physical Education, Health & Recreation study program, and the Sports Science study program.
In his speech, Deputy Chair 1 of STOK Bina Guna Medan said that his party's aim in carrying out the MoA was to extend the previous cooperation contract, especially in the field of scientific journal publication.
"Actually, we already had an MoA and MoU with Unimerz, namely in 2017, but it ended in 2022. Thus, at this meeting we intend to extend the MoA, especially in the journal sector," he said.
Not only that, he also hopes that in the future Unimerz and STOK Bina Guna Medan can exchange writings for publications, exchange students and lecturers.
"Hopefully, with this, our campus and Unimerz can exchange writings for publication. "Then if possible, Unimerz lecturers can teach on our campus, or exchange lecturers and students," he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD., Sp.JP(K) as Chancellor of Unimerz hopes that the signing of the MoA will provide positive benefits for the institutions involved, as well as benefit the wider community, especially the Indonesian people.
"Hopefully in the future things will go well, especially in the field of education. We express our gratitude for our meeting today, in implementing the MoA, so that there is an agreement and progress for each institution. "Hopefully what will be done in the future will be useful for the whole community, especially the Indonesian people," he hoped.
For your information, also present at the implementation of the MoA were the Chancellor of Megarezky University; Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD., Sp.JP(K), Deputy Chancellor IV Unimerz, Deans of Unimerz Faculties, Head of PGSD and Physical Education Study Program FKIP Unimerz, Head of LPM and the Medan Bina Guna STOK group.
