In commemoration of the month of Freedom of Learning and National Education Day (Hardiknas) in 2023, the Academic Community of Megarezky University (Unimerz) took part in a Leisurely Walk with LLDIKTI Region IX Sultan Batara, on Sunday (14/5/2023).
In his statement to Unimerz Press Personnel, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor III of Megarezky University said that for this activity Unimerz sent 64 students and 25 lecturers.
"Mega Rezky University sent 64 students and approximately 25 lecturers. "This is all to enliven the month of independent learning in order to welcome National Education Day in 2023," he said.
Furthermore, he also hopes that following this leisurely walk can be an encouragement for the Unimerz academic community so that they can develop and be more advanced.
"Hopefully this will be a starting point as encouragement for academic activities to be able to progress and develop further. It should be noted that when they departed it was self-help or absolute awareness of the students and lecturers themselves, without coercion. "They really realize how important activities like this are, as a means of motivation and also academic entertainment," he said.
