Exactly in December 2022, the age of Megarezky University (Unimerz) will officially be 17 years, starting from the beginning of the formation of the College of Health Sciences (STIKes) in 2005 and the establishment of the College of Teacher Training and Education Sciences (STIKIP) in 2014.
Of course, this is an award for the entire Unimerz Academic Community, because they have succeeded in making a contribution to Indonesia in advancing human resources (HR), especially in the field of education, by always upholding cultural and technological values.
At the age of 17 this year, Unimerz will celebrate its birthday or Dies Natalis very cheerfully, from 12-24 December 2022 with the theme 'A Spirit to An Excellent Teaching University'. Of course, there will be many different types of competitions organized by Unimerz at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration.
Several series of activities and competitions that will take place at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration are as follows;
1. PUBLIC LECTURES
The Public Lecture or Digital Literacy Era 5.0 Webinar is one of a series of activities at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration. This public lecture carries the theme 'Building Generation Z, HIV/AIDS Free'.
The public lecture will be held virtually via Zoom Meeting on Monday, December 12 2022, at 08.00 – finish.
This webinar or public lecture will present reliable speakers in their field, namely Dr. apt. Nanang Munif Yasin, S.Sc., M.Pharm (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Pharmacy UGM), Ns. Abd. Risal, S.Kep., M.Kep (HIV Counselor Dr Hasri Ainun Habibie Parepare), Hj. Badminton (Badminton) is one of a series of competitions held at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration. The types of competition are men's doubles and mixed doubles.
The target badminton participants are active high school/vocational school students in South Sulawesi and specifically lecturers/staff at Unimerz and the Megarezky Health Polytechnic (Polimerz).

The target e-sports participants are active high school/vocational school students in South Sulawesi and university students in South Sulawesi.

Each contest participant may only display 1 work. The language used is standard Indonesian. The theme of the story is local or national folklore. All participants prepare props according to their individual needs. Regarding the maximum viewing duration of 8-10 minutes.

6. ENGLISH SPEECH

The target participants for the English speech competition are active high school/vocational school students throughout South Sulawesi. The theme of the English Speech is 'THE IMPORTACE OF EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNOLOGY'. The theme of the speech is not the title of the speech. Participants are expected to create their own titles according to the theme. Minimum performance duration is 8 minutes, without extra time.

7. POSTER DESIGN
The poster design competition is one of a series of competitions held at Unimerz's 17th anniversary celebration.
The target participants for poster design are students and students active throughout South Sulawesi. Contestants must attach their students (Scan of student card/KTP).
The theme for the poster design competition is 'Dental Engineering Profession and Cardiovascular Profession'. The implementation takes place offline on the Unimerz campus. Participants can team up, maximum 3 people.
Participants are only allowed to send a maximum of 1 original work (not violating copyright). The work text does not contain sexual elements, does not contain pornography or decency. Works entered in the competition must be created using a computer, may combine photo work (scanning) with text;

8. MADING
The wall art competition is one of a series of competitions held at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration.
The target audience for Mading participants are active students and students throughout South Sulawesi. Contestants must attach their students (Scan of student card/KTP).
Participants form teams of a maximum of 3 people. The media competition took place offline, with the theme 'Youth and the Digital Revolution: DEVELOPING YOUTH COMPETENCIES IN FACING SOCIETY CHALLENGES'.

10. UNIMERZ CAMPUS AMBASSADOR
The selection of Campus Ambassadors is one of a series of competitions held at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration.
The target participants for the selection of Campus Ambassadors are active Unimerz students in semesters 3-5. Contestants must attach a scan of their student card/KTP).
Participants in the Campus Ambassador competition must have an attractive appearance, be active, communicative, creative and have a broad knowledge of UNIMERZ. Apart from that, it is preferred that participants can speak English and other foreign languages.

15. PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is one of a series of competitions held at Unimerz's 17th Anniversary celebration.
The target photography participants are active high school/vocational school students in South Sulawesi and active university students in South Sulawesi.
Competition participants are required to attach proof of registration payment transactions and attach, specifically for students (Scan of active ID card Student Card/KK) and specifically for students (Scan of student card/KTP/SIM/Passport).
This photography competition consists of two categories, namely the color category and the black and white category. Each participant may only send a maximum of 3 best photos.
The camera used is free, you can use cellphone cameras, pocket cameras, digital cameras, SLR/DSLR (free to use all kinds of camera brands).
It is not permitted to add any writing or images to the photographic work being contested. Editing is only permitted (contrast, hue, cropping, dodging, burning, saturation, level, curve, noise reduction/dust removing)
Works must not contain elements of pornography, SARA, sadism or things that are degrading or harassing other parties. Photo shoots are only carried out in the Megarezky University area with the theme 'PESONA UNIMERZ'.
