The D-III Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM) study program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a Final Seminar on Community Health Center Clinical Practice, in the Megarezky Hall, 5th Floor, on Saturday (16/3/2024).

This activity was carried out as the final stage of completing one of the third semester mandatory courses (Puskesmas Clinical Practice) which was attended by all active students of the D-III Medical Laboratory Technology Study Program class of 2022, totaling 98 students for 6 weeks at 20 community health centers in Gowa, Maros and Makassar.

It is known that the final seminar on community health center clinical practice was attended by all students from the class of 2022 who were taking the Puskesmas Clinical Practice course.

Apart from that, it was also attended directly by all CI Institution Lecturers. The CI Lahan representatives who attended were CI Lahan from the Somba Opu Health Center, Gowa (Musdalifa M. Saleh, Amd.Kes, SKM and CI Lahan from the Antang Makassar Health Center (St. Rabiah, AMK., S.ST).

The aim of holding this seminar is so that students are able to explain the knowledge they have gained during 6 weeks of practice at their respective health centers as well as understand health service techniques in general and improve their medical laboratory analysis competence in particular.

In his statement, Resi Agestia Waji, S.Sc., M.Si as Chair of the TLM Unimerz D-III Study Program hopes that students can apply their knowledge during the land practice process at the health center.

"From this final seminar activity, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained during the land practice process at the health center, apart from that, they can increase their knowledge about medical laboratory analysis at the health center level which cannot be found during the lecture process," he hoped.
