The professional education study program (prodi) for nurses at the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) of Megarezky University (Unimerz) provided training on Medical Surgical Nursing Practice (PKMB), in one of the Unimerz lecture rooms on Saturday, (10/12/2022).
This activity aims to provide provisions for implementing PKMB practices in several hospitals, namely RSUD. Labuang Baji, RS TK.1 Pelamonia and RS. Tajuddin Khalid which will take place from 12-30 December 2022.
This activity was also attended by the Head of the Nursing Professional Education Study Program and several supervisory lecturers as well as Nursing Students who would carry out PKMB, totaling 85 students.
In his written statement, Sudirman Efendi as Head of the Nursing Professional Education Study Program said that PKMB was carried out so that students could apply nursing care when interacting with patients.
"This PKMB is an initial experience for undergraduate nursing students interacting directly with patients, which aims to introduce students to how to implement comprehensive nursing care before continuing on to the professional stages of nursing next year," he said.
