Chancellor of Megarezky University (Unimerz); Prof. Dr. Anwari Ramli, SE., M.Si attended a Working Meeting (Raker) with hundreds of leaders of Higher Education Institutions (PT) within LLDIKTI Region IX, at the Ciputra World Hotel Surabaya, on Wednesday (28/2/2024).

In his statement, he said that there were 3 points emphasized at the work meeting, namely related to human resources, the academic lecture process and the phenomenon of universities in attracting new students.

"There are 3 points to emphasize, the first is related to human resource (HR) development. It is hoped that all higher education institutions can develop human resources and give lecturers motivation to continue to higher education. For example, those who have S1 can continue to S2 and those who have S2 can continue to S3. "Secondly, the academic lecture process in universities must continue to be developed using capable applications," he explained to Unimerz Press Personnel.

"And thirdly, because of the new phenomenon, several private universities have experienced a decline in the number of students due to tight competition with state universities which have very large capacity. "So in this case, private universities have to make a lot of innovations to be able to increase the number of students every year, for example making MOUs with government or health agencies, so that employees at that intensity can continue their education on campus, especially Megarezky University," he added.

After completing the working meeting with the leadership of LLDIKTI Region IX, the Chancellor of Unimerz continued his working visit with the Deputy Chancellor IV of Unimerz, and the Heads of the Unimerz Masters Study Program to carry out MoUs as well as benchmarking to various campuses in the Semarang area.
