Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully held the Senate Meeting to Open the 18th Anniversary of Unimerz, on Fl. 5 Megarezky University Auditorium, Wednesday (20/12/2023).
The opening of Unimerz's 18th Anniversary this time was very festive and solemn. This is because this activity was combined with the reading of the nomination decree to lecturers and study programs at Megarezky University.
Also present at the Senate Meeting were the Chancellor of Megarezky University along with the deputy Chancellors, members of the senate, the Deans and deputy deans of Unimerz, the Chairs and Secretaries of study programs, all lecturers at Megarezky University, as well as the 2023 Anniversary organizing committee.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Anwar Ramli, SE., M.Si as Chancellor of Megarezky University hopes that the momentum of Unimerz's 18th anniversary celebration can become a reflection and aspiration for the future development of Unimerz as an educational institution.
"On behalf of the leadership of Megarezky University and the extended Unimerz family, I would like to convey my congratulations on the 18th Anniversary celebration. I hope that Unimerz will progress and develop and its graduates will play an increasingly important role in society. "Not only in creating jobs but especially in creating prosperity for the community, especially for those who are marginalized," he said.
"This anniversary is a moment to reflect on the extent of Unimerz's performance so far and where Unimerz wants to go in the future and of course this is a moment that will make Unimerz better than yesterday and tomorrow must be better than today," he added.
Not only that, he also said that Unimerz's achievements at the age of 18 were proof of the struggle and tenacity of its human resources.
"What Unimerz has achieved so far is thanks to the struggle and persistence of educators, education staff and Unimerz students who really love their alma mater. "The progress we have achieved is thanks to all of us working together as a work team or what we can call Joint Management," he said.
"Once again, as Chancellor, I would like to express my highest respect and appreciation to the heroes of education and those who have devoted and served Unimerz, the teaching staff, staff and also students who have contributed to building and developing Unimerz. "For this reason, we express our infinite gratitude for all the charitable services and cooperation in making Unimerz proud," he said.
After the opening of the Senate Meeting for the 18th Anniversary of Megarezky University, it was continued with the Singing Contest activities which were held in the Unimerz courtyard.
For your information, at this year's 18th Anniversary celebration, Unimerz will hold several activities, including the selection of Campus Ambassadors, International Seminars, Blood Donations, Arts and Sports Competitions, Alumni Meetings, Rank 1, E-sports Tournaments and Live Music as well as a leisurely walk on the peak day of Unimerz's Anniversary.
