Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully held the Senate Meeting to Open the 17th Anniversary of Unimerz, on Fl. 5 Megarezky University Auditorium, Monday (12/12/2022).
The opening of Unimerz's 17th Anniversary this time was very lively and solemn. This is because this activity was combined with the reading of the Decree on the nomination of the best lecturer at Megarezky University.
Also present at the Senate Meeting were the Chancellor of Unimerz, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD, SpJP(K), Secretary of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Megarezky, Siti Nurhaliza, SIKom, M.Sc, Vice Chancellors of Unimerz, Representatives from the South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Provincial Education Office, Deans of the scope Unimerz, Chairs and Secretaries of Study Programs, Unimerz lecturers, as well as the 2022 Anniversary organizing committee.
In her speech representing YPI Megarezky, Siti Nurhaliza, SIKom, M.Sc hoped that in the future, Unimerz could become a multicultural university and have students who were able to compete internationally.
"Our hope from the foundation is that Unimerz will not only produce competitive alumni, but also make Megarezky University a multicultural and internationally competitive university," he hoped.
Dr. Drs. H. Muhlis, MM as Head of the Educator Development Division for Early Childhood Education, Higher Education and Community Education Facilities when officially opening the Senate Meeting.
"I hope that in the future Megarezky University can uphold educational values and continue to develop towards becoming a superior university in Indonesia," he said enthusiastically.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Unimerz in this case was represented by the Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep wished Unimerz its 17th anniversary.
"On behalf of the university leadership, we would like to wish Megarezky University its 17th anniversary. If we remember our campus in 2005, we only existed with two study programs, namely midwifery and nursing. And compared to now, our campus is very developed and very big. "We can even compete with well-known campuses in Eastern Indonesia," he said.
"This also cannot be separated from the support of the foundation leaders, supervisors and the entire Megarezky University academic community. "We are together building our campus towards a superior campus, by continuing to uphold the vision and mission of Megarezky University," he continued.
