MASTER PROFILE IN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

The Master's Program in Reproductive Health is a postgraduate study program under Megarezky University which is organized by the Megarezky Makassar Islamic Education Foundation. Which was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 791/E/O/2022 on 03 November 2022.

The general aim of this master's program is to produce masters who have excellence in the field of reproductive health.

VISION

Becoming a Reproductive Health Master's Study Program with Superior Reproductive Health Services Based on Technology-Based Human Values.

MISSION

  • Carrying out an educational process with the advantages of professional, quality, quality-oriented and technology-based health technology.
  • Developing research by lecturers and students who are able to contribute to the development of reproductive health science, producing technology-based models/products/policies in solving reproductive health problems.
  • Carrying out community service based on research results, theories and technology-based reproductive health models.

OBJECTIVE

  • Producing high quality human resources in the field of reproductive health and forming intelligent and spiritual people.
  • Producing research and innovative thinking in the field of sociology education that is oriented towards the development of science and technology.
  • Implementation of educational management capable of creating professional human resources in the field of reproductive health.
  • Producing innovative and creative health research work and becoming a reference in science and technology in the field of reproductive health
  • Producing community service work based on research results, theories and technology-based reproductive health models.

LECTURE DURATION

The length of study in the Master of Reproductive Health study program can be taken for two years in four semesters. Pre-matriculation lectures take place eight times face to face, which aims to provide refreshment before regular lectures begin. To pass all courses in the Master of Reproductive Health Study Program, students can complete it in a minimum of 18 months.

COLLEGE TIME

Lectures in the Master of Reproductive Health Study Program are designed in a programmed and structured manner so that students can choose alternative study times, both pre-matriculation lectures and regular lectures, namely:

  • Saturday and Sunday (weekend), from 08.00-16.00 WITA
  • Monday-Friday (weekday) from 13.00-17.00 WITA

PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

The education provided is aimed at:

  • Structural personnel at the Department of Health, Provincial and District Health Services.
  • Managers of the MCH-Reproductive Health program at the Ministry of Health.
  • Manager of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the maternal and child health and reproductive health sectors.
  • Consultant/prospective consultant in the field of maternal, child and reproductive health.
  • Lecturers and staff at health worker educational institutions.
  • SKM / Doctor / S1 graduates and DIV Midwifery / S1 Nursing / S1 from health and non-health study programs who want to have a career and develop knowledge to overcome maternal, child and reproductive health problems.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Accredited Bachelor's certificate and Academic Grade Transcript with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.75 by submitting two copies of photocopies that have been authenticated/legalized.
  • Register as a prospective student by filling out and submitting the registration form according to the specified schedule, as well as proof of payment of the Registration and Selection Fee.
  • Attach a Curriculum Vitae
  • Attach a Permit to Take Education for Civil Servants and Private Parties
  • Submit a recent color passport photo (green background) measuring 4×6 cm (two sheets), 3×4 cm (six sheets), and 2×3 (four sheets).
