The Nutrition Science Study Program, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully carried out a visitation which was coupled with the signing of a cooperation agreement (MoU) with the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Association of Indonesian Nutritionists (Persagi) for the South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Region, in the Unimerz Meeting Room , Wednesday (9/11/2022).
The visit of the South Sulawesi Regional Persagi group to Unimerz was welcomed directly by the Unimerz Vice Chancellor, Dean of FKK, Chair and Secretary of the Nutrition Science Study Program, as well as lecturers and staff of the Nutrition Science study program.
Vice Chancellor IV Unimerz, Dr. H. Arfenti ASPd, M.Pd, confirmed the signing of an MoU between the Unimerz Nutrition Science study program and Persagi Sulsel.
"The implementation of the MoU with Persagi is of course related to the Tridharma of Higher Education, community service. "Persagi has also committed, if there is a work program to be carried out, they will involve Unimerz, one of which is an activity that will take place in the near future, namely service in the Binaan Village, Maros Regency, specifically in Moncongloe," he said.
In line with that, Fatimah Fitriani Mujahidah, S.Gz, M.Kes as Chair of the Undergraduate Nutrition Science Study Program, also said that Persagi visited her party to create a joint collaboration.
"There was a visit from Persagi Sulsel to Unimerz, Nutrition Science Study Program in the context of collaboration. Future collaborations that will be carried out include research and service, and every time there is an activity, Persagi will always involve us. "I also hope that this collaboration can increase our competence in the Nutrition Science study program," he hoped.
Meanwhile, when confirmed separately, Majilala, S.Gz, M.Gizi as Chair of the South Sulawesi Persagi DPD hopes that the MoU between the two can increase the insight of Nutrition Science students.
"Hopefully communication can be better, so that information about nutrition is obtained by Nutrition Science study program students from the start. So that later, when they finish their studies, they won't be confused about where to find their house. "Because since college, they have gained a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge related to nutrition," he said.
