The Business Law Study Program, Faculty of Law, Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a workshop, with the theme 'The Role and Strategy of Business Law in Creating Progressive Jurisprudence in the Era of Globalization', Thursday (5/12/2022).
Also present at the workshop were Deputy Chair of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Megarezky, Moch Alim Noer Qalbi, SH., LLM, Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep, Vice Chancellor II Unimerz, Dr. Drs. Abdul Rahman., S.Pd., MM., M.Pd, stakeholders and Unimerz Business Law lecturers.
In his remarks, Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep appreciated the holding of the workshop by the Business Law study program.
"By holding today's workshop, of course we congratulate and appreciate the business law study program. We hope that this study program can interpret the vision and mission of the university. "So if a university has a vision related to technology, the business law study program can adopt the background of the university's vision," he said.
Furthermore, he also said that the Business Law study program is the favorite study program at Megarezky University.

"This study program will be a favorite at Megarezky University, because now there is a lot of e-commerce in society, of course business law could be one of the study programs that will exist and will continue to be needed in the future," he explained.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chair of the Megarezky Islamic Education Foundation (YPI), Moch Alim Noer Qalbi, SH., LLM, said that it is hoped that the Business Law Study Program can contribute to improving the legal discipline at Megarezky University.
“This business law study program is still very new. Of course there are still many things we need to improve. Law can contribute to improving the legal discipline at Megarezky University. "And you need to know, Business Law is the first study program in Eastern Indonesia," said the Dean of the Unimerz Faculty of Law.
"One of the most important elements in improving the quality of graduates is the curriculum. "The curriculum is the lifeblood of the study program, so many things go through until it reaches the workshop stage," he added.
Lastly, he hopes that in the future the business law study program can produce professional graduates.
“After graduating, business law alumni can be directly absorbed in their respective fields. Unimerz always creates graduates who are professionals in their fields. "Not only knowing the theory, but being able to develop the theories they got in college, and apply them to the world of work," is the key.
