The Dental Engineering Study Program (Prodi) Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) Megarezky University (Unimerz) celebrated Youth Pledge activities with the theme 'Youth and Culture' on the grounds of Megarezky University, on Saturday (28/10/2023).
In his speech, Dr. Umar Dg Palallo as Chair of the D3 Dental Engineering Study Program expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) and Megarezky University for providing permission and support in organizing this activity.
"Thank you to the Chancellor and his staff who have given us permission to carry out this youth oath activity. Of course, we also express our thanks to the committee, in this case the Dentech community, who have made sacrifices to carry out today's activities. "I saw for myself how they worked hard to make this youth pledge activity a success," he said.
"Hopefully this youth oath can be a momentum to mobilize the enthusiasm of young people, inherit the values of struggle, moral values can still be embedded and remain in the souls of today's youth," he added.
Meanwhile, in his opening, Prof. Dr. Anwar Ramli, SE, M.Si as Chancellor of Megarezky University expressed his great appreciation for holding the youth oath commemoration activities.
"I really appreciate the youth oath commemoration activity held today by the D3 Dental Engineering study program. There are 32 study programs at Megarezky University, but why is it only the D3 Dental Engineering study program that implements it. "God willing, next year, it will not only be Gigi engineering that will carry out Youth Pledge activities, but also all study programs will be able to collaborate to commemorate the Youth Pledge to make it more festive," he concluded.
For information, also present at this activity were the Chancellor of Megarezky University, the Vice Chancellors of Unimerz, the Deans of Unimerz, the Chairs and secretaries of Unimerz study programs, lecturers/staff of the D3 Dental Engineering study program, as well as all students of the D3 Dental Engineering study program.
