The D-III Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM) Study Program, Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) Megarezky University (Unimerz) held community service activities in Kapita Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, on Wednesday (27/1/2024).
The form of community service activities this time is in the form of counseling and health checks, especially for pregnant women in Kapita Village, Bangkala District.
This activity was carried out with the aim of providing pregnant women in Kapita village with a better understanding of health during pregnancy and improving the quality of their lives and those of their unborn children.

Also present at the community service were the Chief Executive of PKM, members and all stakeholders and the community in Kapita Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto.
In his statement, Resi Agsetia Waji, S.Si., M.Si as Head of the TLM Unimerz D3 Study Program said that this activity was carried out in order to increase public awareness regarding the importance of healthy living.
"Of course, this activity has many benefits, one of which is increasing individual and community awareness of the importance of healthy living and providing a platform for equitable, professional and free health services," he said.
