Unimerz D-III Cardiovascular Engineering Study Program Provides Education about Health to Teachers and Students of SMAN 12 Makassar

Diploma III Cardiovascular Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully held community service, at SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, Tuesday (24/1/2023).

The aim of holding this community service is to provide education and health checks to teachers and students of SMA Negeri 12 Makassar.

In her statement, Hasnawati, SKM., M.Kes as Secretary of the Cardiovascular Engineering study program said that apart from providing education, this community service also aims to provide additional insight regarding Health.

"The aim is to provide information to the public, especially teachers and students, about the importance of maintaining health by carrying out regular health checks, then providing knowledge to teachers and students of SMA Negeri 12 Makassar about how to provide basic life support (BHD). )," he said, Wednesday (1/2/2023).

"As well as providing information to the public, especially teenagers from SMA Negeri 12 Makassar, so that they can continue to protect themselves and not fall into delinquent behavior among teenagers," he added.

Furthermore, he also hopes that in the future the teachers and students of SMA Negeri 12 Makassar can carry out regular health checks.

"Our hope from this activity is that information can be provided to the public, especially teachers and students, about the importance of maintaining health by carrying out regular health checks. Apart from that, it also provides education to increase the knowledge of teachers and students of SMA Negeri 12 Makassar about how to provide basic life support (BHD) to patients who experience cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest. As well as increasing public knowledge, especially teenagers, about the impacts resulting from delinquent behavior in teenagers. "The increase in youth knowledge can be measured from the results of activity evaluations (Feedback) with participants," he hoped.

For your information, this community service activity was also attended by the Head of the Study Program; Dr. Muhammad Asrul Apris, Sp.JP(K)., M.Kes, Secretary of Study Program; Hasnawati S.KM., M.Kes, Team of Lecturers at the DIII Cardiovascular Engineering Study Program, Chair of the Cardiovascular Engineering Student Association and DIII Cardiovascular Engineering Students.
