Inauguration of the Megarezky Pattalassang Mosque, Gowa Regency and lecture with Ustadz Tengku Hanan Attaki, LC, at Poros Pattallassang, Sunggumanai, Pattallassang District, Gowa, on Monday (13/03/2023) which coincides with 20 Sha'ban 1444 Hijriah.
It is known that the Megarezky Pattalassang Mosque is a part of the Mega Rezky Islamic Education Foundation (YPI). This is proof that YPI Mega Rezky does not only focus on education, but also pays attention to religious matters.
Apart from being attended by Ustadz Tengku Hanan Attaki, the inauguration of the Megarezky Mosque was also attended by leaders and the Academic Community of Megarezky University (Unimerz), starting from the Chair of YPI Mega Rezky; Hj Suryani, SH., MH, Secretary of YPI Mega Rezky; Siti Nurul Haliza, SIKom., M.Sc, deputy Chancellors, Deans and deputy deans, heads of institutions to the Chair and Secretary of Unimerz scope of study programs.
Not only that, the inauguration of the mosque was also witnessed directly by the Head of Pattalassang Subdistrict, Head of Pattalassang Village, Head of Pattalassang Hamlet, Head of KUA Pattalassang District, Imam of Pattalassang Village, as well as several Community Figures in Pattalassang Village.
As observed by the media crew, the atmosphere at the inauguration of the Megarezky mosque was very busy with visitors. Some visitors even admitted that they were very impressed by the beauty and splendor of the Megarezky Pattalassang Mosque.
“Masyaallah, this is a very beautiful and magnificent mosque. "Hopefully this can be a charity for Mrs. Hj Suryani and her family, and hopefully the presence of this mosque can be an encouragement for residents to perform prayers, especially as this approaches the month of Ramadan," said Ani, one of the visitors to the inauguration of the Megarezky Mosque.
In his report, Dr. Abdul Rahman, S.Pd., M.Si as Chair of the Committee said that the presence of the Megarezky Mosque was proof of the love of the YPI Mega Rezky Trustees' extended family for the mosque.
"Thank God, the construction of the mosque that we wanted and that we all dreamed of has stood majestically. Soon we will witness the inauguration which will be carried out by the Chairperson of the Foundation, Hj Suryani, SH, MH. Of course, this cannot be separated from hard work starting from searching for a location to the stage of the Trustee of the Makassar Megarezky Islamic Education Foundation, Dr. "H. Alimuddin SH., MH., M.Kn and the Chair of the Foundation along with their families and the entire Megarezky University academic community," he said.
"Hopefully everything that the Trustees, the head of the foundation and their families do is proof of their love for the mosque which in fact is the house of Allah SWT. "So that with the love and inseparable connection of our hearts with this mosque, one day we will get facilities and protection from Allah on a day when there is no protection other than Allah SWT," he hoped.
In his speech, the Head of the Pattalassang District PMD Section expressed his thanks very much to YPI Mega Rezky for the initiative in building a mosque in the Pattalassang District environment.
"I can't say anything other than my highest appreciation to the entire foundation for the initiative and sacrifices that went into building such a magnificent mosque. Even though this mosque belongs to a foundation, because it is in Pattalassang Village, of course we hope there can be collaboration, especially regarding fostering a religious atmosphere. "If we want to see the people of Pattallassang peaceful, then look at the mosque," he said.
Meanwhile, in his speech, Hj Suryani, SH, MH, as Chair of YPI Mega Rezky had high hopes for the entire community around Pattalassang Village to always maintain and enliven the Megarezky Mosque.
"Thank God, with the permission of Allah SWT, I was able to build this Megarezky Mosque in Pattalassang Village. Accidentally, it turns out that many of our students live around here. Establishing the Megarezky mosque has been one of my lifelong dreams. Even though it's small, at least my second dream has come true. "My hope is for the community to always maintain and enliven this mosque by using it for worship," he hoped.
After the welcoming session was over, it continued with cutting the ribbon and signing the Megarezky Mosque inscription by Hj Suryani, SH., MH who was accompanied by officials from the Pattalassang District.
Then it continued with a lecture and reading of prayers by Ustadz Tengku Hanan Attaki, Lc. In his lecture, he explained several benefits and advantages of people who build mosques.
“If we build a mosque, we will get a magnificent house in heaven and rewards that will continue to flow until the mosque collapses. So if the mosque still stands upright for hundreds of years or thousands of years, then that is how long the reward will flow to the person who built the mosque. "The more prosperous and the more people who worship and study at the mosque, the more rewards will flow to people who have shares in the construction of the mosque," he explained.
