Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a briefing and release activity for Real Work Lecture (KKN) students Batch 13 for the 2022/2023 period with the theme Higher Education Collaboration with the Regional Government towards Healthy Villages, in the 5th Floor Hall of Megarezky University, Saturday (25/2/ 2023).
Also present at the debriefing and release of the 13th Batch KKN students were the Vice Chancellor of Unimerz, the Chair of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), the Chairs and secretaries of the FKK environmental study program and the Unimerz Faculty of Health Technology, Lecturers/Staff and Batch KKN students 13 Megarezky University.
In his report, Ns. Syamsuriyana Sabar, S.Kep., M.Kep as chairman of the KKN Committee said that there were 429 students who would depart for KKN.
"KKN Batch 13 will send 429 students consisting of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FKK) and the Faculty of Health Technology. They will carry out KKN in 30 villages in Jeneponto Regency for 6 weeks. "God willing, we will leave on Monday (27/2)," explained the Chair of the LPPM, Megarezky University.
Furthermore, he hopes that at the KKN location Unimerz students can apply the knowledge they have gained on campus and provide positive benefits for the Jeneponto community.
"Hopefully this activity can be given the best meaning. So that later students who will go to the KKN location can provide the best benefits to the community, especially in the health sector. On campus you have studied, now is the time for you to apply the knowledge you have to society. "Remember to protect our campus alma mater, protect the name of the study program and protect your personal good name," he hoped.
Meanwhile, in his speech, Dr. Jalal, S.Pd., M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor 3 of Unimerz advised all 13th KKN students to become Unimerz campus ambassadors who can help the needs of the community in Jeneponto Regency, especially in terms of handling stunting.
"Those of you who are leaving for KKN say goodbye to the struggle, make sure you will come back. Therefore, you are ambassadors for Megarezky University who will be departing for Jeneponto district. We are sending you to Jeneponto Regency, because the Jeneponto Regency needs your knowledge, including in the health sector, namely handling Stunting. "Because stunting number 1 is in Jeneponto Regency," he hoped.
“Please maintain the good name of the alma mater. Previously, KKN always received appreciation from the community, and always received thumbs up from the community in their KKN area. Show your intellectual intelligence in your KKN place. "Behave well and carry out your work program," is the key.
