The Physical Education Study Program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Megarezky University (Unimerz) held an outreach with the theme 'Together with the Physical Education Study Program Towards Pioneering a Healthy and Active Lifestyle', at SMA Negeri 1 Takalar, on Monday ( 7/31/2023).

This activity was carried out in the form of providing material in front of students, especially class III Science & IPS, which aimed to encourage students to provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, namely eating patterns, exercise patterns and rest patterns.

The presenters at the socialization were Alamsyah and Eka Riyanti. Both of them are students of the Unimerz Physical Education study program class of 2022. This activity is an output of the Student Growth and Development course.

"Currently we are in an era with varying levels of routine, one of which is social media activities which sometimes take up a lot of time and playing online games which are also usually done until the early hours of the morning," explained Alamsyah in front of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar.

"Most of the perpetrators are students and young people, this is what makes us anxious considering that our young people will one day continue the baton of nation development. If their youth is not filled with useful activities and fostering soft skills, then in the future this nation will "There will be a crisis of quality human resources," he added.

The students seemed quite enthusiastic in asking questions, including about the prevalence of drug abuse among students.

Meanwhile, Wahyu Munandar, M.Or, as the supervisor, said that the abuse of addictive substances can create hallucinations whose motives are unclear because the perpetrator is in a relaxed and relaxed state so that the perpetrator becomes lazy to move.

In line with this, Bakri as the Deputy Head of Public Relations at SMA Negeri 1 Takalar also gave suggestions and advice to the students so that through this activity the students would be more aware of and avoid various types of narcotics and psychotropic substances, because they could damage the nation's generation which would later be continued by the students. student.

"Students can make the Megarezky University Campus a place to continue their education at higher education considering that the campus has quite complete facilities and infrastructure and has study programs with very good accreditation (B)," he said.
