The Megarezky University Makassar Postgraduate Program held a Postgraduate Program Work Meeting with the theme 'Acceleration of Strategic Work Programs and Preparation of 2024 Work Plans', in Takalar on 7 – 8 March 2024.
This activity was officially opened by the Chancellor of Megarezky University; Prof. Dr. Anwar Ramli, M.Sc. In his opening, he revealed that work meetings are an important activity in an institution, because work meetings are a momentum to develop strategic steps to improve the quality of education and research, especially at the postgraduate level.
"This working meeting is a valuable momentum for all of us to unite our vision and mission in improving the quality of higher education, especially at the postgraduate level. "Through strong synergy and collaboration, we are confident that Megarezky Makassar University will continue to develop and contribute more to the world of education and research," he said.
After the opening, it was continued with a presentation session from the Director of Graduate Studies at Megarezky University, Dr. NS. Julia Fitrianingsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep. In his presentation, he outlined a number of strategic work programs which will be the main focus in the 2024 Work Plan. He highlighted the importance of adapting to technological developments, governance and increasing the capacity of postgraduate human resources as well as paradigm changes in the world of education so that in the future Unimez Postgraduate can achieve a national-scale academic atmosphere even international.
“We are committed to continuing to innovate and adapt to the latest developments in education and research. "Through superior programs and collaboration across disciplines and universities on a national and international scale, we believe that the Unimerz postgraduate program can create an academic environment that facilitates our postgraduate students to become future leaders who are influential, intelligent and have a global perspective," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director I Postgraduate Unimerz, Dr. Rika Handayani, M.Kes, gave her views regarding the future direction of the Postgraduate program.
“As part of our efforts to provide quality higher education, we will continue to encourage integration between research, teaching and community service. "This is the foundation for our graduate students to develop a deep understanding and significant contribution in society," he explained.
Also present, Deputy Director II of the Unimerz Postgraduate Program, Dr. Syamsuriati, M.Kes, he also emphasized the importance of developing human resource capacity in an era of rapid change.
“We are committed to strengthening the capacity of lecturers and education staff through continuous training and professional development programs. "This will ensure that we have qualified and skilled teaching staff to face the ever-growing dynamics of the world of education," he said.
For your information, currently Unimerz Postgraduate has 5 master's level study programs, including Sociology Education, Hospital Administration, Health Promotion, Reproductive Health and Pharmacy.
