Recently, Megarezky University (Unimerz) had hundreds of students come from 10 schools in Makassar City.
The ten schools referred to are, SMAN 7 Makassar, SMK Megarezky Health, SMK Laniang, SMAN 18 Makassar, SMAN 21 Makassar, SMK Basnaz Makassar, National High School, Vocational School Darussalam Makassar, Pondok Pesantren Darul Aman Makassar.
Each school sent 30-60 students, so the total number of students visiting Megarezky University was 300 people. They visited on different days, within a period of 2 weeks, from 13-24 December 2022.
The purpose of the students' arrival at Megarezky University is to take part in the Open Days (Campus Tour) program which is one of the work programs of the Admission Institute. Apart from that, Open Days were also held to celebrate Unimerz's 17th Anniversary.
Please note, the aim of holding Open Days is to provide knowledge and insight to students regarding conditions at Megarezky University. Apart from being able to get information about Unimerz, hundreds of students were also able to see firsthand how complete the practical facilities and technological sophistication are at Megarezky University.
One of the teachers accompanying students from SMA Negeri 7 Makassar, Pattahuddin, admitted that he was very amazed after entering the laboratory rooms at Megarezky University. According to him, Megarezky University is a campus with very complete practical facilities.
“I often hear about Megarezky University, but I didn't expect it to be such a big campus. When I entered, I was shocked to see him. "The practical tools are also very complete," he said, while in the practice room for the Midwifery study program.
Furthermore, he also expressed his gratitude for the invitation and facilities provided by Megarezky University. Because he said, with this invitation, he and his students could see Unimerz directly.
"We would like to thank the entire Megarezky University academic community for the invitation. "We are happy to be able to visit this campus," he said.
In line with this, Marpuah, as the assistant teacher at SMAN 18 Makassar, also admitted that he was very happy to be able to receive an invitation from Megarezky University, because his students could receive educational healing after finishing the school exams.
“This is called 'Healing Education'. I'm so happy the kids can get the opportunity to visit like this. God willing, they will be happy with this campus, and hopefully they will be able to continue here. Moreover, the campus is this big, and the facilities are also complete. God willing," he said.
Meanwhile, Eka Sari Ridwan SKM, M.Kes as Chair of the Unimerz Admission Institute expressed many thanks to the school for giving permission to all students to be able to take part in Open Days activities on the Megarezky University campus.
"We would like to thank all school principals for giving permission for their students to visit our campus. "We really hope that after participating in the Open Days, the students will be interested and interested in joining as Unimerz people," he said with emotion.
For your information, during the Open Days process, students are accompanied directly by the Open Days Coordinator and several students who are assigned as Tour Guides. They also got to know each other and chatted with each other.
Open Days Coordinator and Tour Guides who provide instructions for introducing study programs at Megarezky University. Students are also allowed to get to know more about the study programs at Unimerz, including getting to know the practical tools at Unimerz.
Apart from being introduced to practical laboratory tools, accompanying teachers and students were also given facilities to get free blood type checks, cholesterol checks and eye exams.
Because the number of study programs at Megarezky University is quite large, visiting time for each study program is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes. The students are given direct understanding by the Head of the Study Program or Lecturers/Staff in the Study Program.
