The leadership of the Rectorate of Megarezky University (Unimerz) visited the location of the Real Work Lecture (KKN) for Unimerz students class XII, in Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi, Sunday (11/12/2022).
This visit was attended by Vice Chancellor I, Dr. NS. Julia Fitrianingsih, S.Kep., M. Kep. Vice Chancellor II, Dr. Abdul Rahman, S. Pd.I, M. Pd. Vice Chancellor III, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd. and Deputy Chancellor IV Dr. Arfenti Amir, S. Pd., M. Pd. Apart from that, this activity was also attended by the Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Jangga, M.Sc. and the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Abdul Malik Iskandar, S.Ag., M.Sc.
The visit of Unimerz leaders was welcomed by the people of Sinjai. The Unimerz KKN supervision team was even welcomed with the Paduppa Dance, a typical guest reception dance performed by Sinjai 8 High School students in Batu Sulfur Village, Sinjai Borong District.
In his speech, the Head of Batu Sulfur Village, Ahmad P, said that the presence of KKN students really helped the village community in particular and the sub-district community in general.
"Hopefully the implementation of Megarezky University's KKN can again place its students in Borong District in the next batches," he said.
Meanwhile, from the University, represented by the Deputy Chancellor III for Student Affairs, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd, said that KKN was held to build relationships and carry out community service.
"We hope that KKN students can bring love during KKN, loving the community is one form of this," he hoped.
For information, this supervision activity was also combined with the presentation of material regarding Village Development Plans in the Agricultural Sector and Preparation of Assisted Villages delivered by the Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation.
