Unimerz Makassar KKN Students Post XXIV Saotengnga Village, After Holding Seminar Program

The work program seminar, which was packaged in the form of a Village Community Deliberation, was officially opened by the Chairman of the Saotengnga Village Consultative Body (BPD), Andi Sudirman Waris, accompanied by the Saoengnga Village Secretary, Ahmad Nur, MJ, S.Pd and the Unimerz Makassar KKN Student Coordinator, Saotengnga Village, Muh. Taufiq Hidayat.

Andi Sudirman Waris in his speech emphasized, among other things, the importance of the Saotengnga Village community helping young KKN students in explaining their work programs.

"Without the support and assistance of all of us, of course it will be an obstacle for them, while they are development agents who are currently implementing one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service," stressed Andi Sudirman Waris.

On the same occasion, Ahmad Nur.MJ, S.Pd represented the Head of Saoengnga Village in his direction appreciating the presence of Unimerz Makassar students doing KKN in Saotengnga Village. "Hopefully the work program resulting from previous field observations will be useful for the community in this village," he hoped. Ahmad Nur.

He hopes that while he is in Saotengnga Village, he can bring a good impression to the students, and frankly, the presence of KKN students in this village will certainly increase their knowledge and knowledge as an implementation of what the students learn. while on campus.

"We hope that the work program that the students have prepared and will work on, over the next month or so, can be synergized with existing village programs and village institutions," hoped Ahmad Nur again.

He added, We would like to thank the younger students, we feel very grateful because during the Unimerz KKN Students' existence in this village for approximately one month, hopefully they have helped us and the community a lot.

Meanwhile, the Village Coordinator, Muh. Taufiq Hidayat, in his report said that this was the final activity as a form of report on work program activities during the KKN in Saotengnga Village.

Taufiq Hidayat, a student from the Bachelor of Physical Education Department, added that KKN students in Saotengnga Village will carry out several work programs resulting from field observations in a week, which will then be explained in collaboration with the village community.

Lastly, Taufiq hopes that all KKN students can maximize their work program, and give a good impression to the surrounding community. And maximize their work program to the community to bring a good impression.

"I, on behalf of the village coordinator of Post XXIV Saoengnga Village, would like to say to the Village Head and the community who have agreed to accept us to carry out our work program as KKN students," hoped Taufiq.

After the Village Coordinator's report, the introduction of the Unimerz KKN students to the invitees was continued, guided by the Deputy Village Coordinator, Yoslin Situru.

This was followed by the presentation of the KKN work program at Post XXIV, Saotengnga Unimerz Makassar Village, presented by Satri Widayanti, as Public Relations Coordinator, who previously explained the aims and objectives of the KKN, namely, (1). Implementing Tri Dharma (2). Increasing the Role of UNIMERZ, (3). Increasing students' empathy and concern for society, (4). Applying the hard skills and soft skills that have been learned, (5). Instilling the spirit of Pancasila and the values of nationalism, tenacity, work ethic, responsibility, independence, leadership, and entrepreneurship and (6). Increasing the nation's competitiveness

Meanwhile, regarding the work program that has been prepared and will be explained, continued Satri, a student from the Bachelor of Pharmacy Department, namely;

1.Education Sector Program, with activities; (1). Providing materials and teaching practices to Saotengnga Elementary School students targeting Elementary School students. (2). Counseling about the proper and correct use of medicines for junior and senior high school students, through lecture and demonstration methods, targeting students in Class IX and Class XII.

2.. Social Sector Program, with activities, (1). Participate in daily community activities (community service and gymnastics). (2). Counseling about the importance of Covid-19 vaccination using direct methods targeting the Saotengnga Village community.

3. Health Sector Program, with activity (1). Family Medicinal Plant Extension (TOGA). (2). Counseling and making aromatherapy candles from lemongrass oil, (3). Counseling on making infused water, using the lecture method, targeting the Saotengnga Village community.

After the presentation of the work program, the session continued with responses and suggestions by the guests present, guided by Yoslin Situru, who essentially received the work program for Unimerz Makassar KKN students, especially those at Post XIV in Saotengnga Village.

Also present at the Village Deliberation in the framework of the work program seminar were Unimerz Class , Posyandu/posbindu, Saotengnga Village Kim Management, Lpm and Karangtaruna, community leaders and religious leaders throughout Saotengnga Village.
