Megarezky University Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) as the leading implementing institution in development in the field of Research and Community Service within Kopertis Region IX. This institution is required to play an active role in developing science and technology as well as improving the welfare of society and the nation's competitiveness with research and community service activities which ultimately constitute a contribution in efforts to resolve and overcome the problems of the nation's society and the world community.

Megarezky University with merger permit number 1194/KPT/I/2018 as a higher education institution that has a vision and mission whose development is determined as a university that has competitiveness and skills, LPPM was formed in 2010 with Decree Number 090.01.3145.1/ III/2010 and changed its form to LPPM Megarezky University with Decree Number: 309.091056/III/2019 as one of the institutions of Megarezky University, must be in line with and provide support for achieving the development direction that has been determined. The support provided by LPPM as an institution that carries out research and community service means that LPPM must produce research according to national priorities, guarantee the development of superior research, improve the quality of research that is relevant to society, increase lecturers' scientific work in national and even international journals, increase the acquisition of IPR nationally and internationally, as well as community service must be able to create technological innovation, especially the application of research results in the field of health technology, and be able to eradicate marginalized communities through education, research and community service.
