The LLDIKTI Region IX Student Affairs Working Team visited Megarezky University (Unimerz), at the Megarezky University Meeting Room, on Thursday (21/12/2023).
This visit was carried out in order to hand over living expense savings books for KIP Scheme 1 study recipients from LLDIKTI Region IX Sultanbatara to Megarezky University.
Also present on this occasion were Unimerz Vice Chancellors, KIP management staff, KIP Kuliah Merdeka scholarship recipients class 3 and the LLDIKti Region IX Sultanbatara student work team.
In his speech, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor III of Unimerz said that there were 23 Megarezky University students who were selected as KIP Tuition scholarship recipients from the government.
“This is a moment that our students have been looking forward to. A total of 23 of our students were declared to have passed the KIP selection to study at Megarezky University, consisting of 4 people who were suggestions from the community and the rest were competing. They are determined to complete their studies on time. "Therefore, we will also guide them to become complete graduates who can certainly be of benefit to society," he said.
"We hope that students can take advantage of KIP financing for things related to college, and follow all the rules that have been set," he added.
Not only that, he also expressed his gratitude to LLDIKti Region IX Sultanbatara for their assistance in distributing aid for college to our students.
"We would also like to thank ll Dikti region 9 for their assistance to our students. And this is the third batch, in the 1st batch there were 60 students, in the 2nd batch there were 13 students and in the 3rd batch there were 23 students. "Thank you for helping us to distribute college aid to those who are classified as less fortunate," he said.
Meanwhile, Dr. Rahmawati, SH, MH as Chair of the LLDIKTI Region IX Sultanbatara Student Affairs Working Team said that this KIP college program has been implemented for 3 years, which is a program from the government to be given to those who are less fortunate.
“KIP Independent College is the third year that the government has organized it for those in the underprivileged category. We hope that students who receive KIP from Megarezky University can manage the financial assistance they receive well, and not use this assistance for things that are not useful. Because currently there are many phenomena that occur when KIP recipients have a style that is not in line with KIP recipients in general, their lifestyle is usually better than that of their lecturers. "So please use this state money for your college needs," he explained.
"KIP recipients who do not complete the study period will have a recapitulation Monev through the Si Cabe fund disbursement application through Pddikti which has been synchronized from their respective PTS," he concluded.
