The team of lecturers from the Nursing Professional Education Study Program together with the Nutrition Science Study Program, Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery (FKK) Megareszky University (UNIMERZ) carried out community service.
This activity was focused at the Moncongloe Bulu Village Office, Maros Regency. This activity coincides with National Family Day (Harganas) and has the theme "Family is the Most Important Thing in Life" Saturday, (02/07/2022).
This activity is part of the routine agenda which is part of the Tri Darma of higher education. This activity was attended by all lecturers in the Nursing & Nutrition Study Program along with staff and several students.
Apart from that, there were also the head of Moncongloe Bulu Village, representatives from the Maros District Health Service, Babinsa and dozens of local residents who witnessed the activity directly.
In his speech, the Head of Moncongloe Bulu Village, Muhammad Tahir, said that this service activity was very beneficial, "We hope that in the future we will continue to synergize with Moncongloe Bulu Village, especially in the health sector, which is a village supported by Megarezky University." Said Muhammad Tahir.

On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery, represented by Syaiful as Deputy Dean I, expressed his highest appreciation to the Moncongloe Village government for the synergy built with Megarezky University, especially the FKK Nursing & Bachelor of Nutrition Professional Study Program.
"We hope that in the future activities like this will continue to be on the agenda whose targets can be expanded," explained Syaiful.
A number of activities are presented in community service such as Diabetes Exercise, health checks, fat measurements, health education, and several other activities.
This activity involves several sponsorships such as Prodia, Top Kopi, Isam Cahaya, Quen Wisata and One Air. In his speech, the Head of the Professional Nursing Education Study Program said that this activity was one of the implementations of the Tri Darma as a form of community service which is expected to have a positive effect and change the healthy living behavior of the surrounding community.
"We would like to express our thanks to the Maros Regency government, especially Moncongloe Bulu Village, which has facilitated it and also thank the sponsors who have contributed to this activity," said Sudirman Efendi as head of the Nursing Profession Study Program.
