ENGLISH EDUCATION PROFILE
The English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Megarezky University (UNIMERZ) is one of the Education study programs that was established to accompany the establishment of Megarezky University (UNIMERZ) with SK number 044.UNIMERZ/Kep/I/2019. Starting at the Teacher Training and Education College (STKIP) with number SK 031/SK/YPI-MRM/V/2011.
The improvement process continues to be carried out as an effort to improve the quality of higher education, until the College of Teacher Training and Education (STKIP) undergoes a change in form to Megarezky University (UNIMERZ) with number SK 1194/KPT/I/2018 and starts operating January 30 2019 with number SK 044 .UNIMERZ/Kep/I/2019. And currently the English Language Education Study Program has received B accreditation status with BAN-PT Decree number 6236/SK/BAN‑PT/Akred/S/X/2020.
VISION
Pada Tahun 2034, Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris menjadi unggul, dan berdaya saing di bidang English for Young Learners dalam memanfaatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.
MISSION
- Menyelenggarakan pendidikan yang kerkualitas dalam bidang pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dengan penekanan khusus pada teori dan praktik pembelajaran english for young learners, guna menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten, profesional, dan berdaya saing di tingkat nasional.
- Mengembangkan keterampilan English for young learners mahasiswa melalui kurikulum yang komprehensif dan praktis.
- Menyelenggarakan penelitian yang aplikatif dan inovatif dibidang pendidikan dan pengajaran serta memperluas publikasi karya ilmiah dosen Program Studi ditingkat lokal, nasional dan international.
- Melaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakt yang berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Inggris.
- Menjalin kerjasama dari berbagai lembaga atau universitas baik di tingkat lokal, nasional maupun international dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris.
OBJECTIVE
- Menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi dalam bidang English for young learners berintegrasi, dan mampu bersaing di pasar kerja global.
- Mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam proses pembelajaaran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pendidikan.
- Untuk mewujudkan penelitian dibidang ilmu pendidikan sesuai karakteristik program studi yang berdampak pada peningkatan mutu yang berkelanjutan menuju Universitas yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif.
- Memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi masyarakat melalui program-program pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
- Mengembangkan kerjasama strategis dengan pihak eksternal untuk mendukung pengembangan program studi dan membuka peluang magang serta kerja bagi mahasiswa.
