D3 CADIOVASCULAR ENGINEERING PROFILE
The D-III Cardiovascular Engineering Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University. The D-III Cardiovascular Study Program develops knowledge in the cardiovascular field and produces graduates who are of high quality and competitive in their field.
VISION
To become a study program that produces quality and superior middle-class cardiovascular engineering experts in the field of invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular technology in 2022
MISSION
- Organizing quality education to produce intermediate cardiovascular engineering experts who are competitive and able to work together with heart and blood vessel specialists and other health workers
- Producing intermediate experts in cardiovascular engineering who are able to carry out non-invasive and invasive diagnostic examinations
- Producing research in order to create and improve the quality of health services in the cardiovascular sector in accordance with advances in science and technology
- Organizing community service to create optimal healthy living.
OBJECTIVE
- Producing intermediate cardiovascular technician experts as professionals who have the knowledge and skills so they are able to work together with heart and blood vessel specialist doctors (in promotive, preventive, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation efforts) as well as other health workers
- Educate middle-class cardiovascular technicians who are able to carry out non-invasive diagnostic examinations and (Electrocardiography (ECG), Echocardiography, Treadmill/Ergocycle Test, Holter, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), Tilt Table Test, Lead Potential (Electrophysiology)), Vascular Techniques (Duplex Sonography) as well as tools related to invasive diagnostic procedures and non-surgical interventions as well as providing and analyzing data from tools: Hemodynamic Monitoring Tool (invasive And non-invasive), EP (Electro Physiology) Study.
- Developing an educational institution for Associate Expert Cardiovascular Technicians as a source of information in managing cardiovascular technicians
- Carrying out research in health midwifery, especially in the field of cardiovascular engineering, by students and lecturers in accordance with developments in science and technology.
- Implementation of community service in promotive and preventive forms, through health education in an effort to improve health status in the cardiovascular sector
GRADUATE PROFILE
Cardiovascular Engineering graduates collaborate with heart and blood vessel specialists and other specialist doctors, in carrying out non-invasive diagnostic examinations and invasive non-surgical cardiovascular diagnostics as cardiovascular technicians. Of course, cardiovascular technicians can have careers in hospitals, laboratories, specialist heart clinics/hospitals, or as teaching staff.
