The Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) of Megarezky University (Unimerz) held an expert lecture, at the Megarezky Health Polytechnic Library (Polymerz), on Saturday (16/12/2023).
This activity was held with the theme 'Lateral Flow Assay for Early Detection of Infectious Diseases'. The presenter at this expert lecture was Prof. Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Sc.
Also present at this activity were the Dean of Fatelkes Unimerz, Deputy Dean I of Fatelkes, Chairs and Secretaries of the D3 Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM), D4 TLM, S1 Bioinformatics and S1 Biomedical Science study programs as well as several lecturers/staff within Fatelkes Unimerz.
In his speech, Prof.Dr.Dra.apt. Hj. Asnah Marzuki, M.Si as Dean of the Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University said that this expert lecture was very useful for students and lecturers to develop insight and knowledge.
“Today we will attend an expert lecture. Because we lecturers and students in general will continue to develop our insight and knowledge, even though perhaps during lectures we have already touched on this material. However, this time we will listen to a discussion related to Lateral Flow Assay from an expert directly, namely Prof.Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si from Muhammadiyah University Semarang," he said.

Not only that, he also hopes that all participants, both students and lecturers, can listen to the material well.
"I hope that all participants who attend can listen and understand all the material that will be presented by the presenters in today's expert lecture," he hoped.
In his presentation, Prof.Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si said that infection is a process of microorganisms entering the human body and causing pain.
“Infection is the process of entering microorganisms in the form of bacteria, fungi or parasites into the human body, causing pain. "If it doesn't hurt then it's not said to be an infection," he said.
“Infection can include symptoms of increased body temperature. "When microorganisms enter our body, our body will respond in the form of an immune response," he added.
