The Faculty of Economics and Digital Business, Megarezky University, successfully signed a Cooperation Agreement (MoA) with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University (UNM), Makassar, in the Meeting Room of the Rectorate of Megarezky University, Wednesday (11/1/2023).
The contents of the collaboration agreement between the two study programs are related to the implementation of the higher education Tridharma Program, covering the fields of education, research and community service.
The MoA signing ceremony was also attended by the Chancellor of Megarezky University; Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD, SpJP(K), Deputy Chancellor II Unimerz; Dr. Abdul Rahman Sutte, S.Pd.I., M.Si., M.Pd, Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation and Public Relations; Dr. Hj. Arfenty Amir, M.Pd, Dean of the Unimerz Faculty of Economics and Digital Business; Dr. Misrah, SE., MM, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UNM; Prof. Dr.H.Thamrin Tahir, M.Si, Chair of the Department of Economics and Digital Business at Unimerz as well as lecturers and staff at Unimerz and UNM Makassar.
In his statement, Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation and Public Relations at Unimerz; Dr. Hj. Arfenty Amir, M.Pd hopes that in the future all Collaboration programs can be implemented well.
“Previously we had an MoU with UNM at the university level. And currently, we are MoA at faculty level. My hope is that after this signing is carried out it can be implemented well. "So that later it can be used as reinforcement, both at the institute, faculty and study program levels to be used as a Quality Performance Indicator (IKU) for higher education," he said.

In line with that, the Dean of the Unimerz Faculty of Economics and Digital Business, Dr. Misrah, SE., MM also hopes that all activity programs stated in the MoA points can be organized and implemented well.
"Collaboration can have a positive impact on the future progress of the economics faculty, related to the tridharma of higher education, especially in the fields of education, research and community service. "And hopefully this collaboration is not just an MoA, but will actually realize our collaborations in the future," he said when met in his office.
There are several points of activity that will be held between the Unimerz Faculty of Economics and Digital Business and the UNM Faculty of Economics and Business, namely as follows:
- Education program development and quality assurance
- Assignment and development of lecturers with partner universities
- Improving the Quality of Scientific Research and Publications
- Improving the quality of Community Service and Partnerships
- Development of qualifications and competencies of teaching staff and education personnel.
