The D4 Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM) Study Program at Megarezky University recently carried out Community Service (PKM) activities.

The PKM activities carried out by lecturers and students raised the themes of education, anemia screening, screening for preeclampsia and infectious diseases in pregnant women.

In her statement, the Chair of the TLM D4 Study Program, Nirmawati Angria, PKM was held at the Tinggimoncong Community Health Center, Malino District, Gowa Regency, August 6 2022.

"This PKM aims to implement one of the tridharmas of higher education, namely community service, in the form of activities, namely providing education or counseling on infectious diseases in pregnant women (HIV, hepatitis and syphilis), anemia in pregnant women and preeclampsia in pregnant women," explained Nirmawati.

Apart from that, he also said that other activities were carried out: Blood pressure checks on pregnant women, hemoglobin checks on pregnant women, urine checks on pregnant women, and provision of nutrition to pregnant women.

For information, this activity was also attended by 50 pregnant women.
