The collaborative team of Lecturers from Megarezky University (Unimerz) and Bosowa University held Community Service (PKM) activities located in UPTD SD The Manggala Presidential Instruction will be implemented from June to December 2023.
The collaborative activity carried out was in the form of PKM Digital Literacy-Based English Language Learning Model as an Effort to Construct the Character of the Nation's Children. When visiting the PKM location, it was combined with socialization activities, training for teachers and mentoring for class VI students.
During the training for teachers, Muhammad Yusuf, S. Ag., MA as Principal of SD Inpres Manggala expressed his appreciation and strongly supported the PKM activities of English Language Education Study Program lecturers, Megarezky University PGSD and Bosowa University PGSD Study Program lecturers, and students. PKM Team Leader, Sujarwo, S. Pd., M. Pd, and Team member Dr. Asdar., M. Pd, and Bellona Mardhatillah Sabillah, S.Pd., M.Pd explained that this PKM activity aims to increase empowerment in the form of PKM, an empowerment model in the form of PKM, a digital literacy-based English language learning model as an effort to constructivist character of the nation's children. especially the Manggala Inpres Elementary School.
The resource persons at this PKM were Dr. Vivit Rosmayanti, S.Pd.I., M.Pd who is a Lecturer at the Unimerz English Language Study Program. The PKM team focuses on improving speaking skills, improving students' mastery of vocabulary related to traditional clothing, traditional houses, regional dances, regional songs, traditional food, typical animals from each region, traditional games, traditional drinks, regional birds. , Traditional vehicles, Traditional musical instruments. And increasing digital literacy, to develop student character education.
