Debriefing of Class XIV KKN Students at Megarezky University Makassar

Megarezky University (Unimerz) successfully held a release and debriefing activity for Class XIV Real Work Study (KKN) students on Fl. 5 Megarezky University Hall, on Monday (31/7/2023).

The number of students who will be sent to the KKN location is 387 students consisting of 3 faculties at Unimerz, namely the Pharmacy Faculty, the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) and the Computer Science Faculty (Fikom).

It is planned that the Class XIV KKN students will depart on Tuesday (1/8/2023). The KKN locations are in 3 regions in Jeneponto Regency, namely in Batang, Bontoramba and Turatea Districts.

In his opening, Dr. Jalal, M.Pd as Deputy Chancellor III of Megarezky University said that KKN is a mandatory part of the tridharma of higher education.

“KKN is a series of higher education tridharma that must be followed, and must not be absent. Tridharma is learning in class, and the teacher is your lecturer. "For KKN, the teachers are the community at your KKN location," he said.

Not only that, he also advised all KKN Class XIV students to become ambassadors for Megarezky University who are able to apply educational insights to society, especially in the fields of education and health.

"I advise you to be ambassadors for Megarezky University, which from time to time always receives appreciation from the public. Please, maintain the good name of your alma mater by showing the abilities you gained in college, showing your attitude that you are a respected member of society, not a loser. The second message, 387 of you are leaving, so 387 people must return home. It cannot be reduced, and it cannot be increased. "This means, also take care of your health so that no one gets sick," he said.

“Sell your potential, show society that we are a competent society, both in the fields of education and health. So please, those of you from the health study program, provide health education to the people in Jeneponto, especially regarding stunting. "Goodbye, good work and good luck," he said.

For information, also present at the briefing activity were the Vice Chancellor of Unimerz, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Deputy Dean of FKIP Unimerz, KKN Field Supervisors (DPL), as well as Class XIV students of Megarezky University.
