The Nursing Professional Education study program (Prodi) at the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery (FKK) Megarezky University (Unimerz) is again carrying out community service activities.
This activity is part of the tri dharma of higher education which is routinely carried out every semester. This community service was carried out at three different locations, namely at SMPN 19 Makassar school, Bangkala Health Center and at RW 7B. Bangkala Village, Manggala District, Makassar City, Tuesday (25/7/2023).
The activity took place very lively and residents seemed very enthusiastic about taking part in various free health service activities.
"This community service is the second activity carried out in the Bangkala sub-district working area as a village assisted by the Nursing Professional Education Study Program, targeting three points with various health services provided such as random blood sugar checks (GDS), blood pressure measurements, body weight measurements. ", health screening, health education and various other services both at the Puskesmas and in the RW 7B environment," said Ners Juhelnita Bubun as activity coordinator.
In his speech, the Head of the Nursing Professional Education Study Program, Sudirman Efendi, said that this activity was regularly held because it was a university tridharma program.

"Community service is a form of Tri Dharma whose benefits are immediately felt by the community. This activity has been going on for two semesters and focuses on the process of identifying health problems so that in the next activity it will be followed up with various strategies for solving health problems by the Lecturer Team according to their respective competencies. each," he said.
In carrying out this activity, Ns. Said as a representative of the Bangkala Community Health Center.
"We welcome the presence of the UNIMERZ Lecturer Team whose activities can be felt directly by the community, of course this will really help the Community Health Center in carrying out Community Health Effort (UKM) programs in overcoming various health problems that exist in the work area of the Community Health Center Bangkala. Our hope is that this Pegmas activity can continue to be sustainable and that the Bangkala Community Health Center will continue to support it as a partner. "And we apologize.
