Gorontalo University visited Megarezky University (Unimerz) Makassar, on Wednesday (5/7/2023). The Gorontalo University team was warmly welcomed by the Unimerz academic community, in the Megarezky Makassar Health Polytechnic meeting room.
Upon arrival of the Gorontalo University leadership team at Unimerz, they immediately went on a tour to see several of the Megarezky University campus facilities. The Unimerz and Gorontalo University teams also shared several things with each other.
Also present at this activity were the Chair of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky; Hj Suryani, SH, MH, Deputy Chair of YPI Mega Rezky; Moch Noer Alim Qalbi, SH, MH, Chancellor of Megarezky University; Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD., Sp.JP(K), Unimerz Vice Chancellors, Unimerz Postgraduate Directors and staff, Unimerz Deans, heads of Institutions, heads of Unimerz study programs and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Duluwo Limo Lopohalaa Education Foundation Gorontalo, Chancellor and Postgraduate Director of Gorontalo University and his entourage team.
Dalam sambutannya, Wakil Ketua YPI Mega Rezky Makassar, Moch Noer Alim Qalby, S.H., LLM menuturkan, bahwa pihaknya sangat bangga karena bisa menjalin kerjasama dengan salah satu institusi tertua yang ada di Gorontalo.
"It is a matter of pride for us that Megarezky University can collaborate with one of the oldest higher education institutions in Gorontalo, namely Gorontalo University. "Hopefully Gorontalo University can provide direction and guidance for us (Megarezky University) who are still very young," he said.
"We hope that today's signing of the MoU will provide benefits to both institutions and also to the wider community," he hoped.
In line with this, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD., Sp.JP(K) as Chancellor of Unimerz in his speech expressed his gratitude for the visit from Gorontalo University to Unimerz. He also hopes that in the future we can work together well.
“We thank you very much for visiting Gorontalo University. "Hopefully good things can be brought and transferred to Unimerz, and vice versa, this visit can provide additional insight and knowledge to Gorontalo University," he said.
"Our hope is that with this meeting we can build good cooperation with each other, of course we can bring positive energy to these two campuses, namely Megarezky University and Gorontalo University. "Hopefully in the future, we can also visit there," he hoped.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sofyan Abdullah, SP, MP as Chancellor of Gorontalo University expressed his gratitude and thanks for the extraordinary welcome by Megarezky University to the Gorontalo University leadership team.
“We would like to thank us (University of Gorontalo) for the extraordinary welcome we received. Today we are very happy because we were very well received, because we were given a welcome and were invited to tour several Megarezky University campus facilities. From the outside it looks ordinary, when you enter MasyaAllah it is extraordinary. This campus is relatively new, but it is already very extraordinary. "I really applaud Megarezky University," he said.
Not only that, he also said that the aim of entering into an MoU with Megarezky University was to be able to collaborate regarding the tri dharma program of higher education.
"The aim and objective of our MoU with Megarezky University is so that these two institutions can collaborate regarding the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, teaching, research and community service," he explained.
“Including in preparing and publishing research journals, it is very good if we can work together and collaborate with each other. Apart from that, it can also be in the form of teaching exchanges between lecturers and students to share between the two institutions, such as MBKM. "So that later we can improve the reputation of both institutions," he added.
For information, after the signing of the MoU, the cooperation was followed by a short discussion regarding cooperation programs in the fields of education, research, community service and utilization of human resources, led directly by Dr.Ns. Julia Fitrianingsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep as Deputy Chancellor I Unimerz.
