In order to celebrate the momentum of Eid al-Adha 1444 H, the Mega Rezky Makassar Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Family, in this case the Megarezky University (Unimerz) Academic Community, held a sacrificial animal slaughter in the Unimerz Campus Yard, on Saturday (1/7/2023).

Also present to witness the slaughtering of sacrificial animals were YPI Chairman Mega Rezky; Hj Suryani, SH, MH, YPI Secretary Mega Rezky; Siti Nurul Haliza, SIKom., M.Sc, along with the entire YPI Mega Rezky family, namely the Unimerz and Polimerz academic community.

In his statement, Aminuddin, S.Or., M.Kes as Chair of the Qurbani organizing committee said that the slaughter of sacrificial animals is always held by YPI Mega Rezky Makassar every year.

"Alhamdulillah, every year YPI Mega Rezky Makassar always organizes the slaughter of sacrificial animals to welcome Eid al-Adha. "This year, God willing, we will slaughter 2 cows," he said.

Not only that, he also said that hundreds of kilograms of meat would be distributed to the YPI Mega Rezky Makassar academic community.

"This year, sacrificial animal meat will be distributed to the entire Unimerz and Polimerz academic community. "This is proof of YPI Chairman Mega Rezky's concern for the entire community," he said.

"We hope that the entire Unimerz academic community can participate in this activity. "And hopefully what is being held today can be a good practice for the entire YPI Mega Rezky Makassar Family," he hoped.

All Unimerz lecturers and educational staff who have been appointed as sacrificial committee members cut the meat, then weighed it and put it in plastic bags for distribution.

For your information, apart from being a gathering event, of course this activity was also enlivened by a food competition from each faculty at Megarezky University. The entire presentation will be judged directly by YPI Chairman Mega Rezky along with the other jury team.
