The II Congress of the Indonesian PGSD Study Program Management Association (PPPSPGSDI) raised the issue of national and international accreditation. Representatives of every PGSD Study Program throughout Indonesia gathered at the second congress, at El Hotel Royal Jakarta Kelapa Gading, on 1-3 June 2023.
This PPPSPGSDI meeting brought together various universities in Indonesia with the theme 'Governance of Superior Study Programs through National and International Accreditation'.
It is known that this activity succeeded in bringing in 83 university representatives with 130 participants, one of whom was the PGSD Lecturer at Megarezky University, R. Supardi, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In his statement, Chairman of PPPPS PGSDI Prof.Dr. Fahrurrozi, M.Pd said that the issue of accreditation is related to the study program's efforts in creating superior study programs.
This activity was guided directly by students from the postgraduate Doctoral study program, one of whom was Nursei Bte Abustang, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The speakers for this activity were Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, M.Pd presented policy material and strengthening quality assurance in LAMDIK accreditation, Dr. Faisal Madani, M.Ed Sc with material on Overview and strengthening quality assurance in international accreditation of PGSD study programs. Then, material on policy direction for Teacher Professional Education in the PGSD study field by Temu Ismail, S. Pd., M.Pd and Sharing session by Prof. Dr. Siti Nurjanah, SE., M.Sc.
For information, this activity was also attended by the Quality Control Group Section of the Megarezky University PGSD Study Program by R. Supardi, S.Pd., M.Pd. The second congress event for the PGSD study program received appreciation from Prof. Komaruddin, Chancellor of Jakarta State University who was also present as the keynote speaker.
In his statement, Prof. Komaruddin also said that the PGSD management forum must have a routine program to be implemented in order to encourage the dream of moving forward together towards superior accreditation.
