Megarezky University (Unimerz) has successfully confirmed 485 graduates at the Extraordinary Open Senate Meeting of Megarezky University in the context of Graduation Class XV Odd Period 2022/2023, at the Claro Hotel, on Thursday (25/5/2023).

For information, the number of graduates who will be inaugurated today is 485 people consisting of 4 faculties from 8 faculties within Unimerz.

The details are: Faculty of Pharmacy with 160 people, Faculty of Health Technology (Fatelkes) with 183 people, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery with 85 people and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) with 57 people.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ali Aspar Mappahya, Sp.PD., Sp.JP(K) as Chancellor of Unimerz congratulated the graduates on their study achievements at diploma, bachelor and professional levels.

"I represent the entire academic community of Megarezky University, conveying my congratulations to all graduates for achieving their studies at the diploma, graduate and professional levels and making today the momentum for the end of small steps and the beginning of big steps to face the big challenges ahead," he said.

"I also express my thanks and congratulations to the parents of the graduates who, with extraordinary efforts, have supported our graduates in successfully completing their studies, and what is no less important is the trust that has been given to them in choosing Megarezky University," he added.

In line with that, the Secretary of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky, Siti Nurul Haliza, SIKom, M.Sc in her speech also congratulated you on successfully completing your studies proudly at the Unimerz campus.

"We congratulate you on your successful completion of your studies at the Unimerz campus. The process of becoming a graduate, professional and intermediate expert cannot be denied is a tiring process that takes time, energy and thought. We also hope that graduates can make a real contribution to society. "Because the real challenge we face after completing our studies at Unimerz is how to use our knowledge in society," he said.

"Continue to be proud of our alma mater, Megarezky University, make our memories while studying on campus become lasting memories because those memories will provide experiences that will create strength," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of LLDIKTI IX, Dr Andi Lukman, in his speech hoped that the entire Unimerz campus academic community would always maintain harmonious relationships by growing a campus that is conducive to achieving the campus's vision and mission, namely good higher education governance.

Not only that, Dr Andi Lukman also stated that the graduation procession was the responsibility of higher education institutions to the community and had undergone a learning process in accordance with good governance.

"One proof of the governance at Unimerz, recently, the campus was selected as one of the universities that won the Independent Learning Program from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Technology Research. "Unimerz is the university with the highest number of study programs, 33 study programs and 5 master's programs within the scope of LLDikti Region IX Sultan Batara," he said.

At the end of his speech, the Head of LLDikti also challenged Unimerz management, hopefully next year they can open a Strata 3 (S3) program so that they can be on par with other State Universities.

"Hopefully this year, Professors will be born at Unimerz so that they can provide encouragement to other lecturers so that human resources will increase and can be in line with developments in the quality/value of accreditation of study programs at Unimerz," he concluded.
