The Information Technology Education Study Program (PTI) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a curriculum workshop with the theme 'Introduction to Independent Learning – Independent Campus (MB – KM) in Information Technology Education, in the Megarezky Polytechnic meeting room, on Monday (15/5/2023).

Also present at this activity were the leadership of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky, Deputy Chancellor III of Megarezky University; Dr. jalal., M.Pd, Dean of FKIP; Dr. Abdul Malik Iskandar, S.Ag., M.Si, Deputy Dean of FKIP, Chair of the PTI study program and his staff, lecturers at Unimerz, Korwas Disdik Sulsel, KVTIII Association, as well as stakeholders and invited guests.

In his statement, the Dean of FKIP Megarezky University, Dr. Abdul Malik Iskandar, S.Ag., M.Si said that the curriculum workshop was to create a road map for a new study program, in this case the Information Technology Education study program.

"The curriculum workshop is to create a road map for a new study program, in this case the Information Technology Education study program. If there is no road map, the academic community will be in chaos, both the lecturers and the students. "Because, all the things in the curriculum will include students' learning achievements until the end," he said.

Meanwhile, Dafrid Cahyadi Arifin, S.Kom, MPd as Chair of the PTI Unimerz Study Program hopes that Megarezky University can organize an Information Technology Education study program that is relevant to the needs of society.

"Establishing an information technology education study program that is relevant to the needs of society, shows the consistency of Makassar Megarezky University in expanding its contributions and role within the scope of the tridharma of higher education. "Producing students who are creative and innovative in both academic and non-academic fields so that they become the best graduates who can be competent and competitive in the world of work," he said.

"The new academic year for PTI brings a million hopes, brings a million challenges, brings a million dreams, make the past a lesson and the future a hope with enthusiasm and example to achieve glory in the future," he said.
