In his lecture, Dr. H. Abd. Halim Talli, M.Ag said that fasting is mandatory for Muslims only in the holy month of Ramadan, and cannot be mocked.
“Fasting is mandatory only during the holy month of Ramadan. So don't waste this opportunity. This is a valuable moment for all of us Muslims. So we are all expected to be able to maintain our fasting, balancing it with other worship services. Don't just fast to endure hunger and thirst, but don't do other acts of worship, for example we fast from food but we spend our time playing games, social media and forgetting to pray. "That's the same as us playing with our fasting," he explained.
