The D-III Optometry study program, Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University (Unimerz) held low vision outreach activities, introduction to assistive devices and low vision examinations, at SLB A YAPTI Makassar, on Friday (31/3/2023).

The aim of holding this activity is to carry out community service in the form of eye examinations, increasing knowledge about eye health, and introducing low vision aids at SLB YAPTI MAKASSAR and combined with a joint fast breaking event.

Also present at this activity were the Head of the Unimerz D-III Optometry study program; Dr. Andi Senggeng Relle Sp.M., MARS, Secretary of the study program; Irwandi Rachman S.KM., M.Kes, Chair of IROPIN PENGDA South Sulawesi; Baso Muhamemin A.md, RO, Lecturer in the D-III Optometry Study Program; Dr. Dr. Purnamanita, Sp.M, M.Kes, Management of the Optometry Student Association, the foundation and students of SLB A YAPTI Makassar.

In his statement, the Head of the Unimerz D-III Optometry study program; Dr. Andi Senggeng Relle Sp.M., MARS hopes that activities like this can continue to be held, to benefit other people's health.

"This activity can continue to be carried out and the results of the examination can be useful for friends at SLB A-YAPTI. "This activity is one of the missions of the DIII optometry study program, namely, organizing community service activities in the field of low vision," he hoped.
