The Diploma III Medical Laboratory Technology (TLM) Study Program, Faculty of Health Technology, Megarezky University (Unimerz) held a Final Hospital Field Practice Seminar (PKL RS), in the Megarezky University Campus Hall, Friday (24/2/2023).
This Final Seminar is one of the assessment points of the PKL Hospital course and is mandatory for course participants with the aim of being a forum for assessment, sharing information and discussions between supervisors, CI Land and students regarding what they have undergone during the 4 weeks at their respective hospitals. . CI Lahan also provides input on the results presented by students and of course input to the study program that is constructive in nature for the implementation of future PKL RS.
It is known that PKL RS is one of the mandatory courses for DIII TLM Study Program students in semester V. This PKL Hospital was attended by more than 60 level V students and used 6 practice fields at the Takalar and Makassar regional hospitals, which lasted for 4 weeks with assistance from lecturers. In his statement, Resi Agestia Waji, S.Si., M.Si as Chair of the D-III TLM Unimerz study program said that there were several material items discussed, all of which were the results of student practice at the Hospital.
"Discussion of practical results at the hospital, including the types of examinations carried out, types of instrumentation tools used, student participation in the hospital program as well as discussions regarding input from CI Land and CI Institutions," he said.
Furthermore, he also hopes that by holding the entire series of PKL RS, it can provide additional knowledge for D-III TLM students, especially the Class of 2020, and can be used as a provision when they want to take the competency exam.
"For students, they can gain additional knowledge according to their competency as ATLM and make them more confident in carrying out examinations and become provisions for taking competency exams in the future. "Then our hope is that for the practice area, mutually constructive cooperation can be established for the development of each agency," he hoped.

"For the Study Program, we hope that this seminar will be able to become a forum for fulfilling students' competencies so that they can produce alumni who are ready to work and compete in their fields," he said.
For information, the final seminar activity was also attended by the Academic Community of Megarezky University, including officials from the Faculty of Health Technology, Chair and Secretary of the TLM D-III Study Program, Lecturers/Staff of the TLM D-III Study Program and TLM D-III Students Class of 2020 ( fifth semester).
