The Megarezky University Master of Health Promotion (Promkes) study program successfully held vision, mission and curriculum workshops and workshops in the Megarezky Polytechnic Meeting Room, Saturday (4/2/2023).
Also present at the vision and mission workshop and workshops were the Postgraduate Director of Megarezky University, Prof. Anwar Ramli, SE, MM., Deputy Postgraduate Director of Unimerz, Dr. Rika Handayani, SKM., M.Kes, Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep, Heads of the Unimerz Postgraduate Study Program, as well as Unimerz Staff/Lecturers.
Not only that, apart from being attended by the Unimerz Academic Community, this activity was also attended by Dr. Ridwan M Thaha, M.Sc as resource person at the workshop, and several stakeholders.
In his speech, the Postgraduate Director of Megarezky University, Prof. Anwar Ramli, SE, MM, revealed that this vision, mission and curriculum workshop was very urgent for the new study programs that would be developed.
“Activities like this (vision, mission and curriculum workshops) are very urgent. "Because with this activity, we can see what the Health Promotion study program will be like in the future," he said.

He further said that a successful institution is an institution with a study program that is able to keep up with the times and can meet market needs.
"A successful institution is an institution that is able to keep up with the times and is able to read and fulfill market needs. Therefore, we must be able to produce alumni or a curriculum that is able to read the needs of the future. "God willing, in the future, our alumni will not be looking for them, they will be the ones they will look for," he said.
Meanwhile, in the opening, Vice Rector I for Academic Affairs, Dr. NS. Julia Fitria Ningsih, S.Kep., M.Kes., M.Kep, hopes that after the workshop the vision, mission and curriculum will not only be limited to writing, but must be developed to produce competent graduates.
"On behalf of the Chancellor of Megarezky University, we express our highest appreciation for the presence of this study program (health promotion). Hopefully it can help in developing the quality of education strategically. Currently at Unimerz there are many study programs in quantity. "But we are not only increasing quantity, but we are also building quality, by continuing to improve the education system to achieve superior accreditation," he explained.
“Of course good planning will produce good things. We hope that by holding this activity, not only will a vision and mission be born, but also how to produce master's alumni who are specialized in their fields. "Apart from that, we also hope that this study program can produce superior programs, including scientific publications, integration between education, research and educational development," he concluded.
