Megarezky University (Unimerz) Makassar conducted a comparative study visit as well as signing a collaboration (MoU) with Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (UMY) on Jalan Brawijaya, Kasihan, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta, on Saturday (28/1/2023).

Apart from the aim of signing a collaboration, this visit also aims to provide friendship between the two universities, namely Unimerz and Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.

Also present at the visit were, Chair of the Islamic Education Foundation (YPI) Mega Rezky; Hj. Suryani, SH, MH, Unimerz Deputy Chancellor IV for Cooperation; Dr. Hj. Arfenti Amir, S.Pd., M.Pd, Deputy Chancellor II Unimerz; Dr. Abd Rahman, M.Sc., M.Pdi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Apt Jangga, M.Si, LPPM; Syamsuryana Sabar, Head of UPPPTIK Unimerz; Irwan, SH and Finance Staff; Olvi Dwiyanti Putri, SM.

In his statement, Deputy Chancellor IV Unimerz for Cooperation; Dr. Hj. Arfenti Amir, S.Pd., M.Pd hopes that this collaboration can strengthen the potential in implementing the tri dharma of higher education.

"We visited the Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University campus to sign the Cooperation, as well as a comparative study to the Mini Hospital at the Harapan Nusa Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. "We do this to be able to provide material for comparison and sharing in hospital management," he said.

"The hope is that this collaboration can provide mutual strengthening between both parties at the university, faculty and study program level. "Apart from that, we also hope that this activity is not just an MoU, but can give birth to good implementation," he hoped.

For information, on the previous Friday (27/1/2023), Megarezky University also carried out a friendly visit and signed a collaboration at Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta and Ahmad Dahlan University.
